How does Bright work?

Bright is composed of:

Bright Server – which is a cloud-based application that primarily talks to SCORMCloud, and provides various RESTful application services to a Bright client. These include:

* a simplified API that reduces the complexity and local data storage requirements for an application that wants to integrate with the SCORMCloud API.

* performance enhancements designed to make serving web pages with lots of SCORMCloud courses on them extremely fast.

* support for custom reporting delivery beyond what is available in Reportage.

 

Bright Client – our most widely used client is our implementation on WordPress.   The WordPress version adds a templating mechanism that allows SCORMCloud objects [courses] to be flexibly integrated with regular content pages.

What does Bright cost?

Customers who purchase monthly support licenses generally pay around $400/month and up, although this typically includes site hosting and SCORMCloud fees, all-inclusive.

It is possible to run Bright for less, on a small business license.
